Base Village
The renaissance of Snowmass.
Already voted by the readers of SKI Magazine as the Number 3 ski resort in the United States, Snowmass is undergoing a major transformation. With more than $23 million in improvements slated, exciting changes are in store.
The town of Snowmass just opened a brand-new recreation center, which provides indoor classes and recreational activities for all ages.
In addition, development is underway on the new base village at Snowmass. Here, visitors will soon be able to enjoy a 25,000-square-foot children’s center, 15,000 square feet of conference space, and 64,000 square feet of new shops, pubs and restaurants — all connected to the upper village by the new Sky Cab.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Snowmass will set a new paradigm for modern resort living by balancing nature, sport, and pure relaxation with innovation in sustainable development. Related WestPac is proud to be a part of a groundbreaking program to create one of the nation's most sustainable neighborhoods in accordance with the LEED®* for Neighborhood Development rating system. As part of the Snowmass community, we have an opportunity and an obligation to shape its future through environmentally sensitive ingenuity. It is a philosophy that goes beyond the physical site with consideration for the most efficient use of energy and the cleanest renewable resources, and aims to set a new standard for environmental excellence in the development and hospitality industries in Snowmass, Colorado.
