From Denver & Eagle Airports and all points east of Aspen
- Take Pena Blvd to I-70 West
- Stay on I-70 West approximately 170 miles
- Take exit 116 toward Glenwood Springs/Aspen/CO-82 E exit
- Follow signs through Glenwood Springs to Hwy. 82, south toward Aspen approximately 30 miles
- Turn right on Brush Creek Road, follow signs to Snowmass Village for approximately 5 miles
* Due to a recent large rockfall incident on I-70 in Glenwood Canyon, only one lane of eastbound and westbound I-70 is open between Glenwood Springs and approximately Dotsero. More Information
ALTERNATE ROUTES:
From westbound I-70: exit at US 40/Empire to State Highway 13 and back to I-70; exit in Silverthorne and take State Highway 9 to US 40 and State Highway 13; exit at Wolcott/State Highway 131 to US 40 and State Highway 13.
From eastbound I-70: exit at Rifle/State Highway 13 to US 40 and back to I-70. Travelers may also wish to use US highways 160, 285 and 50 if traveling to destinations south.
From Aspen Airport
- Turn left at CO-82 N, follow road for approximately 2 miles
- Turn left at Brush Creek Rd light, follow signs to Snowmass Village for approximately 5 miles
To Top of the Village Condominiums:
Check In Location: Top of the Village Gatehouse, 855 Upper Carriage Way, Snowmass Village, CO 81615
- Continue about 1.5 miles past the Conoco gas station, follow signs to Upper Village.
- Take a right at Upper Carriage Way and follow signs to the Top of the Village Gatehouse, approximately 1 mile or less.
To Stonebridge Inn, Terracehouse Condominiums, Tamarack Townhouses, Willow Studios, Shadowbrook Condominiums:
Check In Location: Stonebridge Inn Lobby, 300 Carriage Way Snowmass Village, CO 81615
- Take a left at Wood Rd, shortly after the Conoco gas station, take an immediate right on Carriage Way, follow for approximately ½ mile
- The Stonebridge Inn is on your left, across from parking lots # 1 & 2
PLEASE NOTE: Independence Pass is open only in the summer months, generally from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September; however, snowfall may change these dates. While it is a paved 2-lane highway, in places it is extremely narrow, winding and exposed and should be driven cautiously.
