DOC EASON RETURNS TO SNOWMASS VILLAGE FOR HIS 35TH SEASON OF
Doc Eason has been performing in Snowmass since 1977 when his two week trip to visit friends turned into a career. He got his start in the World Famous Tower Comedy/Magic Bar where he learned the trade from legendary bar magician Bob Sheets. When the Tower shut it doors in 2004, he began his tenure performing at the Artisan Bar.
His devoted fans recognize him a Snowmass Village legend. But remarkably, he recognizes most of his fans by name, hometown and family members. This is just one of his fantastic trademarks. Widely recognized as one of the premier bar magicians of our time, he has lectured on the subject to magicians all over the US as all over the world.
Doc is a four time Academy Award Winner (no not *that* academy, it is the lesser known but no less prestigious-Academy of Magical Arts), including two consecutive years as the Closeup Magician of the Year, the W.C. Fields Magic Bartender of the Year and finally-Lecturer of the Year.
While Snowmass Village is very proud of all Doc’s awards and accolades, we are even happier to consider him ‘one of our own’. He is a staple in many locals and visitors winter experience and a true town treasure.

Doc will be performing at the Artisan in the bar on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 pm until the end of March (always a good idea to confirm that Doc is on).
