Ski and snowboard schools
The better your kids get, the more fun they'll have on the slopes. The Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass offer private and group lessons for kids, young children and teens - taught by some of the world's best trained and most talented ski instructors. The 25,000-square-foot kids ski facility in Snowmass features lessons, day care, lunch, kids ski trails with live reindeer in an aspen grove!

Dog sledding
There's nothing like the exhilaration and excitement of being pulled by a team of Siberian huskies through the snow-covered wilderness of the Snowmass/Aspen area. Krabloonik Restaurant & Kennel, located on the slopes of the Snowmass Ski Area, features two-hour dog sled rides that end with a world-class lunch or dinner in the restaurant's rustic setting. Ice skating and hockey
Take a spin on the ice at the Aspen Recreation Center and the Aspen Ice Garden public ice skating rinks, which also offer lessons, hockey leagues and birthday parties.

Western dinner dance and sleigh rides
Enjoy an entire evening of wholesome family fun at the legendary T-Lazy-7. Start with a 25-minute horse-drawn sleigh ride through the spectacular Maroon Creek valley near the snow-covered Maroon Bells, feast on an elaborate dinner buffet, then dance your hearts out to a live band that plays both Western and popular music.
